Rolando Bince defeated Tony Boron, and then had to wait for the result on Board 2 to find out if he won clear first,

Waldemar Schulz could not convert his advantage over Perfecto Joven in mutual time trouble, so Bince took first alone at 3.5, and qualifies for the Tournament of Champions in Nov-Dec. Schulz, Joven, and Dawa shared 2nd at 3 points.  Young Henry Li got his first CFC victory, upsetting Gary Crawford. 

As noted, next week the June TNT participants will play an optional bonus round that will be CFC rated. Some may take a break, some may wait until the ratings come out June 30, but many indicated they will play another rated game in June.

 In FIDE Futurity # 3 action,  the front runners, Babb and Zaczek maintained their perfect scores and are now at 4-0.

Both of them will likely gain a bucket of FIDE and CFC rating points.  They will face each other next Tuesday.
