COMMENT: The tournament grew by three boards and became still
stronger at the top with the participation of Trevor Vincent. The "refuse to lose"style of the Wassermans, Leor and Arie, produced the upsets of the round on boards five and ten.

Arvin Dawa's results in the first two rounds should have players speculating about just what his strength might be, once the rust comes off. Jarik Czypinski's performance also suggests a return to Expert strength.
