Chess in the Park continues every Friday with a blitz tournament at noon (weather-permitting) in Merchant Park, which is located on the south side of Portage Ave., between Edmonton and Kennedy St.    Games are 5 minutes per player and there are four or five rounds, depending on the number of players.  Entry is free and prizes are awarded by Winnipeg Downton Biz merchants.    Just show up 5 minutes before noon to register.   All welcome.
