The final Portage Place blitz tournament of the year was held this past Thursday.    Thanks to Downtown Winnipeg Biz and Portage Place merchants for sponsoring these events.  Thanks too to Lorne Gibbons, our faithful servant, for being the tournament director -- it's quite a chore to lug the equipment from the University to the site every week, and it's a significant time commitment.  The Manitoba Chess Association is grateful.
