Portage Place businesses and Downtown Winnipeg Biz are sponsoring blitz tournaments every noon hour for the next nine Thursdays (except March 20).   The first blitz tournament will start Thursday, February 21 in Edmonton Court (in front of the clock tower) at Portage Place.  The tournament will be a five-round Swiss.   Games are 5 minutes per player.   There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded.   All players, including those who have never played an organized tournament, are welcome to join us.
