24 players compete in the tournament including two newcomers, Lawrence and Mark Klusa. There were two upset draws. Lorne was winning but wisely accepted Harley's offer after blundering a rook. But the biggest upset was on Board 4 where Aaron Green outplayed Jim Lauritson. Games will be posted tonight.
