The Merchant Park Blitz tournament, sponsored by the Downtown Winnipeg Biz continues every Friday at noon throughout the summer.   The Park is located on the south side of Portage Ave, between Edmonton and Kennedy streets.  All are welcome to play.   The tournament starts at noon each Friday -- get there at least 5 minutes before noon to register.   Entry is free.  Games are maximum 5 minutes per player and tournaments are usually 5 rounds.   Results from the last two blitz tournaments are as follows:
