A couple of players did not show up for the tournament. Andy Kohalmi agreed to play for one of the teams but Jordan Kwiatek's team bravely played with 3 players. Blair's team practically guaranteed the first place going into the last round, nevertheless they won that round 4-0. Congratulations to Jonathan Zaczek, team captain Blair Rutter, Kevin Booth, and Saul Magnusson. Ken Einarsson team has ended their match in a draw against Jordan Kwiatek's team and had to wait if Boron's or Pottinger's will share the second place with them. Suspense ended with Fred Gibson losing on time. Thank you to all the participants, it was fun tournament to run. My special thanks go to Stephen Lipic for helping to organize two teams just before (and after) deadline, Fred Gibson for helping me to setup the room, and also to everyone who helped with cleaning up. Team results can be found on our Results and Games pade. I'll post individual board results later on and maybe add few games also. PS I have added individual results. It turned out that Cory Letain was the only player with a perfect score! |
