SUNDAY JUNE 3rd University of Winnipeg Centennial Hall Bldg – Room 2C14 Registration 9:30AM Note: No pre-registration is required – However, you must be there before 10:00AM unless you have arranged a ‘bye’ in the first round. [ Registration for the Chess Workshop for Children (August 7-10) will take place at this time as well.] This will be a 30 minute/player, Chess-&-Math-style tournament. The entrance fee is $15. Details: 1 hour/ game [1/2 hour / player]. In all, there will be 5 games over the entire day starting at 10:00 AM. Game times are: 10:00AM, 11:00PM, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, & 3:00PM. The top players (girl and boy) in the under 8 years old, under 10 years old, under 12 years old, under 14 years old, under 16 years old and under 18 years old categories, will win* a $150 entry fee prize for the National Youth Tournament to be held in Ottawa (July 3-6, 2007) |
