Congratulations to the Manitoba team for a strong 5th place showing at the Canadian Chess Challenge, scoring 57.5 points out of a possible 108. Special congratulations to Aaron Green for placing 2nd in grade 11 with 8.0 points (out of possible 9.0), Christopher Santos for 3rd in grade 10 with 7.0, Igal Raihman for 3rd in grade 12 with 6.5 and Theo Wolchock for finishing in a 3rd place tie in grade 3 with 6.0 points. Great results! |

Just a reminder to the current participants that the May TNT continues on May 24 and May 31. The game file has been updated for Round 3. Big thanks to Les Mundwiler for entering the games. 4 prizes of Entry to 2011 Abe Yanofsky Memoria are up for grabs. 1st overall 1st U2000 1st Under 1730 1st Under 1500 Ties will be awarded as partial entry. |
