Tony Boron entered most of the third round games. He could not go past move 4 in Huynh-Tang game and also ran into trouble late in the games Magnusson-Wasserman and Reimer-Einarsson. Players help is much appreciated. I have not talked with Lorne Gibbons today, but on Monday night we had a single entry for October Sectional . Deadline for registration is 7 pm on Tuesday, October 9. The lots will drawn at that time. Just a reminder that the tournament will be run in sections with 6 or 5 players. Players are assigned to the sections according to the last available rating list. Depending on the number of participants the lowest section can be run as a swiss, the other sections will be round-robin with pairings known on October 9. Waldemar Schulz is the only player with a perfect score after three rounds. Aron Kaptsan, Joseph Van Wyk, and Weixi Liu are half a point behind. Games and crosttable will be updated tonight.
