Downtown Biz will once again be sponsoring Chess in the Park this year which will feature a blitz tournament on Fridays at noon in Merchant Park, starting June 6 and carrying through until the end of August.

The Park is located on the south side of Portage Ave, between Edmonton and Kennedy streets. All are welcome to play. The tournament starts at noon each Friday -- get there at least 5 minutes before noon to register. Entry is free. Games are maximum 5 minutes per player and tournaments are usually 5 rounds.
