Starting on February 21^st, and, with the exception of March 20^th, taking place over a 9 week period, a Blitz tournament will be held at Portage Place. The location may vary in the Mall, so check this event entry or the main page of the MCA website for the exact location. (Edmonton Street Court, 2^nd floor of Kennedy Street Court, etc.)

March 6^th: Edmonton Street Court

March 13^th: 2nd floor, Kennedy Street Court

March 20^th: NO TOURNAMENT

March 27^th: Edmonton Street Court

April 3^rd: Edmonton Street Court

April 10^th: Edmonton Street Court

April 17^th: Kennedy Street Court 

The Blitz tournament will be in the form of a 4 or 5 Round Swiss event, with a 5 minute/game time control in effect. The event has been arranged by Downtown Winnipeg BIZ and Portage Place. There will be no entry fee! Each event will start at noon and should last about 2 hours. Prizes will be awarded by various Portage Place sponsors. So drop by and watch or join in the fun.
