MCA Weekend Chess Sectional

Sunday, February 20th, 2011 at 12PM (Registration from 11AM to 11:50AM)
Entry Fee $10, Time Control G/25
THEMED TOURNAMENT (Opening C33 King's Gambit Accepted)

SECTIONAL FORMAT
-- MCA Ratings will be used; unrateds will be ranked using CFC ratings, if none exist they will receive a 1400 provisional rating
-- Sections will be: Master/Expert, A/B Class, C/D Class
-- Prizes based on entries
-- Tournament Director: Stephen Lipic
-- Arbiter: Stephen Lipic

If there are insufficient entries for a sectional format, a Double-round Swiss format will be used instead. Players will use both colours in a match.

ALL DRAWS will be decided by SUDDEN-DEATH BLITZ using standard FIDE rules.
